If you’re still recovering from a big Saturday night, we recommend the Chili Moco Loco - a delicious dish of Beamer’s chili & fried potatoes served over a 7 oz. burger with two sunny side eggs.

Will you be having the five egg omelette or one of the amazing benedicts on the brunch menu at Billy’s? Perhaps you’ll bring a friend and order both so you can share! There are also many other unique options such as the Breakfast Nachos or Fried Chicken Biscuits & Gravy, as well as the classic Steak & Eggs, featuring Billy’s signature Prime Rib. 

Bread Craft

The weekend brunch specials at this artisanal bakery in Downtown Roanoke were so popular that Bread Craft created a permanent Sunday brunch menu! Now, any Sunday visit provides the opportunity to enjoy things like the decadent Chocolate French Toast or the Chorizo Skillet, made with Spanish sausage, peppers, onions, potatoes, and two fried eggs.

Chateau Morrisette Winery & Restaurant

Take a relaxing Sunday drive on the Blue Ridge Parkway and plan your day around a delicious brunch at Chateau Morrisette Winery & Restaurant. How can you resist the French Toast made with challah bread and topped with Virginia maple syrup and house-made Morrisette Farms wine jelly?! After brunch, visit the winery’s tasting room and take a tour of the cellar.

Local Roots

If farm-to-table is your thing, Local Roots is your place. The restaurant was highlighted by USA Today in its list of “10 Best Slow Food Restaurants that are Sustainable and Scrumptious.” Begin your meal with oysters on the half shell and then dive into something scrumptious like the buttermilk biscuit with pork belly.

Mac and Bob’s Restaurant

Mac and Bob’s Restaurant in Downtown Salem is the quintessential neighborhood spot that’s popular with both locals and visitors. Brunch is served from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Sundays and the menu features tasty options like Chicken & Waffles or the Sourdough French Toast, which is made with sourdough bread from the nearby Salem Farmers Market.

Our Daily Bread Bakery & Bistro | Salem & Roanoke

Originally started in Blacksburg, Our Daily Bread Bakery & Bistro has expanded its presence in Virginia’s Blue Ridge with locations in Roanoke and Salem, and both spots are terrific options for Sunday brunch. There are a variety of omelettes made with cage free eggs, along with other unique dishes such as Prosciutto & Brie crepes.

Located at Milepost 86 on the iconic Blue Ridge Parkway, the restaurant offers a Sunday Brunch Buffet from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. that includes a made-to-order omelette station, waffle station, a chef’s choice of desserts, and an assortment of other dishes. Following your meal, take in the beauty of Peaks of Otter and enjoy a leisurely stroll around Abbott Lake.

Preston’s Restaurant - The Inn at Virginia Tech

Spend a Blue Ridge Day on the beautiful campus of Virginia Tech and check out the Champagne Sunday Brunch at Preston’s Restaurant in The Inn at Virginia Tech and Skelton Conference Center. The buffet features a Prime Rib carving station, omelette station, smoked salmon with assorted toppings, and other classic breakfast dishes and pastries.

The Regency Room - The Hotel Roanoke & Conference Center

Sunday brunch at The Regency Room in the historic Hotel Roanoke & Conference Center in Downtown Roanoke is an elegant setting with delicious food. The Grand Sunday Buffet has received numerous local awards and features a carving station, made-to-order omelette bar, and many breakfast favorites. We can’t tell you what to order for brunch at The River and Rail because it’s all so good! In the mood for something sweet? Try the Brioche French Toast. Have a craving for meat? Go with the Hanger Steak & Eggs or the classic River & Rail Burger. You’ll want to start any meal with a variety of tasty apps like the Pimento Cheese Board or Jar of Pickles. The award-winning restaurant also features its own blend of locally-sourced Red Rooster Coffee. 

Rockfish Food & Wine

Rockfish Food & Wine offers an impressive wine list and a Sunday brunch menu with all kinds of great seafood dishes. Tizzone Wood Fired Kitchen & Wine Bar

Pass the Prosecco for brunch at Tizzone in Botetourt County! This Italian restaurant and wine bar serves up some delicious Sunday brunch cocktails that feature Prosecco, including the Bellini Meanie Martini, The Hummingbird, and The Kir Royale. You can also order a Mimosa carafe because this party is about to be #LIT. You’re sure to work up an appetite, so order a Brunch Burger or try the Corned Beef Hash.

Wasena City Tap Room and Grill

31 beers on tap and a brunch menu with items like the Carnitas Omelette, Sweet Potato Pancakes, and Huevos Rancheros? The Wasena City Tap Room is making us hungry! The restaurant also serves its popular burgers and pizzas, which are available all the time. For more Sunday fun, head next door to Roanoke Mountain Adventures for bike rentals or to River Rock Climbing for some indoor rock climbing.

Wildflour Cafe at Towers

Wildflour Cafe at Towers is the sister restaurant of On the Rise Bread Company, a local bakery in Downtown Roanoke, so many of the Sunday brunch specials include fresh-baked bread, such as the French Toast, Croque Madame, Eggs Benedict, and Biscuits & Gravy. The restaurant is located inside the upper level of the Towers Shopping Center.
