Our sales team will work with you through every step of your event to ensure attendees and guests will have nothing but positive things to say about visiting the Roanoke Valley in Virginia's Blue Ridge Mountains.

Pre-convention Attendance Building & Meeting Promotion

• Provide a convention landing page on our website for qualified, city-wide events.

• Supply local images to enhance conference websites, newsletters and presentations.

• Provide welcome materials, including PowerPoint presentations, video, and/or welcome letters from government officials for qualified events.

• Assist with dissemination of information to local media outlets.

Planner Toolkit

We feature basic tools and resources to help you plan your meeting in Virginia's Blue Ridge. You'll be able to download photos, statistics and more.

• Photos - images that can be used in presentations and materials to promote your meeting in Virginia's Blue Ridge

Meeting & Event Planning Assistance

• Assist with facilitating programming for events and/or leisure activities.

• Provide comprehensive lists of local resources and businesses, including possible off-site venues, team-building opportunities, restaurants suitable for groups, etc.

• Assist with acquiring local service providers for rentals, such as speakers, entertainment, A/V equipment, transportation, etc.

• Assist with coordinating special events such as local tours, scavenger hunts, and dine-arounds.

• Assist in working with local government agencies (police, EMS, code officials) to facilitate meeting requirements such as security, traffic, assistance, permits, etc.

• Serve on planning committee for qualified city-wide events, when possible.

• Provide information to assist with sponsorships and donations.

• Assist with requests of a government official to provide a welcome address.

Social Responsibilities

• Connect with local charities that can benefit from a group donation, or from donations of leftovers from your event.

• Assistance in connecting with local organizations that can facilitate a group service project.

Visitor Information & In-Kind Services

• Provide Visitor Guides, Maps & Tour Information.

• Provide promotional materials for qualified events.

• Provide a Hospitality Visitor Information Table at meeting sites for qualified, city-wide events with 400 or more attendees. An unstaffed table may be available for qualified events with >400 attendees if resources are available. Our Sales Team will do its best to accommodate weekend setups.
