Hurricane Helene Update

We are thinking of our neighbors in SWVA and are grateful for the first responders and organizations that are providing assistance. Virginia's Blue Ridge region (Cities of Roanoke & Salem and Counties of Botetourt, Franklin, & Roanoke) was fortunate to sustain minimal damage from the storm and our local businesses are open and ready to welcome visitors. Press Room for Virginia's Blue Ridge

Thank you for your interest in Virginia's Blue Ridge (VBR).

The Visit Virginia’s Blue Ridge public relations team works with national and international travel media and vetted social influencers, who are outside of our immediate region, to help promote Virginia’s Blue Ridge as a metro mountain destination and generate tourism. While working closely with travel media, Visit VBR facilitates valuable connections with regional partners and resources in order to help media produce authentic stories of Virginia’s Blue Ridge.

The destination boasts stunning scenery and outdoor adventures, local craft beverages and cuisine paired with rich history and heritage, shopping, arts and culture and so much more.

Home to some of the best two-wheeled adventures on the East Coast, Virginia’s Blue Ridge is America’s East Coast Mountain Biking Capital.
