Salem, VA Historic Sites
Originally founded as the Town of Salem in 1802, the present-day city still retains its original charm and has preserved many of its original buildings and unique architecture.
To learn more about Salem’s rich history, make sure to visit the Salem Museum & Historical Society, which is located in the historic Williams-Brown House beside Longwood Park on Main Street.
