Holiday Music Playlist from Visit Virginia’s Blue Ridge

We love the sounds of the holiday season in Virginia’s Blue Ridge!

Whether it’s the Roanoke Symphony Orchestra at their annual Holiday Pops performances, the dancing of sugar plum fairies as part of Southwest Virginia Ballet’s production of The Nutcracker, or the ringing of the bells in the Town of Buchanan on New Year’s Eve, we have so many special ways that we celebrate the holidays in the Blue Ridge Mountains.

You can also find the sounds of carolers singing at local Christmas markets and the “Ho, Ho, Ho!” of Santa as he makes appearances at various holiday events around the region. 

The live music and performing arts are a great part of a visit to Virginia’s Blue Ridge during any time of year. But, if you’re like us, you especially enjoy listening to Christmas music and holiday tunes during this time of year.
