When you’re not exploring the over 500 miles of shoreline and soaking in the beautiful views that make Smith Mountain Lake the “Jewel of the Blue Ridge,” there’s time to enjoy the fun events and festivals that are on the calendar.

A few of our annual favorites include the Smith Mountain Lake Pirate Days, an all-out pirate-themed weekend that includes boats battling each other with water cannon fights, Smith Mountain Lake Wine Festival, and the always tasty Smith Mountain Lake Chili Festival.
