Olivia and Rocky Byrd, owners of Rockfish Food & Wine, are always looking for a restaurant they love. Each having over 25 years experience in food & beverage has helped form some solid ideas of what at least some of the local population is looking for, too. After working in some top notch resorts and wineries on the central coast of California for a number of years, the Byrds decided to come home to Roanoke. When the current location in Grandin Village popped up, it seemed like the perfect spot to open their new endeavor. The inviting, smoke-free dining room and friendly staff has quickly made Rockfish a local favorite featuring over 270 hand picked wines for dining and retail and a contemporary menu that changes seasonally. Rockfish offers dinner Wed. - Sun., Sunday brunch, a retail wine shop, private dining/special party facilities & catering.

Directions: From I-81, take Exit 143 to I-581 towards Roanoke. Go approximately 5 miles on I-581 and take Exit 5 onto Williamson Road. Take Williamson Road for approximately 1/4 mile and then turn right on Campbell Avenue. Continue on Campbell Avenue for approximately 1.5 miles and turn left onto 13th Street. 13th Street will become Memorial Avenue and you will cross over Memorial Bridge as you enter into the Grandin Village community. After approximately 1 mile on 13th/Memorial Ave, turn left on Grandin Road into the heart of Grandin Village. The restaurant is located on the left side of the street just before the 7-Eleven.
