With its indoor-outdoor design versatility and spectacular 40-mile view of the Roanoke Valley, Valhalla’s mountain-top chalet, Cellar Door, is an ideal and memorable location for your upcoming family celebration, private party, or business dinner or presentation. In 2007–2008, City Magazine readers gave high rankings (4 stars) to Valhalla for Best Site/Activity to Impress Out-of-Towners, making it truly one of the best choices in the Roanoke Valley for hosting an elegant event that is sure to impress all who attend, while also remaining within budget. The Cellar Door provides 2,800 square feet of indoor space with a wine bar and fireplace, which is temperature controlled, and 1,600 square feet of outside space on a stone patio with outdoor fireplace and partial covering for a total of 4,400 square feet. Maximum capacity is 150 guests when utilizing the inside and outside spaces; inside only, the maximum is 100 guests cocktail style, 60 guests sit-down service.

- Directions: I-81 to Exit 143 (I-581/Route 220 South) to Franklin Road Exit. Turn right at stoplight. Turn left onto Brambleton Avenue. Turn right at 3rd stoplight onto Roselawn. Go 2 1/2 miles, then turn left on Mt. Chestnut. Valhalla Vineyards is located one mile up the hill.
