In 2007–2008, City Magazine readers gave high rankings (4 stars) to Valhalla for Best Site/Activity to Impress Out-of-Towners, making it truly one of the best choices in the Roanoke Valley for hosting an elegant event that is sure to impress all who attend, while also remaining within budget. The Cellar Door provides 2,800 square feet of indoor space with a wine bar and fireplace, which is temperature controlled, and 1,600 square feet of outside space on a stone patio with outdoor fireplace and partial covering for a total of 4,400 square feet. Maximum capacity is 150 guests when utilizing the inside and outside spaces; inside only, the maximum is 100 guests cocktail style, 60 guests sit-down service.
