We are The Peaks Retreat & Adventure Center! The Peaks’ facilities are tailored to support a wide variety of events and experiences. We’re proud to offer a world-class adventure at our retreat facility in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains. As a new organization to the area, we are focused on creating engaging, educational experiences! Whether a school field trip comes out for a day of outdoor activities, like ziplining or canoeing, a corporate team joins us for some teambuilding on our low ropes course, or summer campers experiencing a weeklong overnight camp, The Peaks is happy to support and customize every individual's experience.
Directions
- Directions: From Roanoke/Points West: Follow US 460-East from downtown Roanoke (starts as Orange Ave NW) for 19 miles. Turn right onto VA-690/Nester Rd and travel for 2 miles. At the stop sign, turn right onto VA-755/Union Church Rd. Travel for 1.4 miles, and then veer left to stay on VA-755/Union Church Rd for another 1.4 miles. Veer right to stay on VA-755/Simmons Mill Rd. Travel .3 miles and The Peaks Retreat and Adventure Center will be on your left. From Bedford/Lynchburg/Points East: Follow 460-West from Bedford for 5 miles. Turn left onto VA-690/Nester Rd and travel for 2 miles. At the stop sign, turn right onto VA-755/Union Church Rd. Travel for 1.4 miles, and then veer left to stay on VA-755/Union Church Rd for another 1.4 miles. Veer right to stay on VA-755/Simmons Mill Rd. Travel .3 miles and The Peaks Retreat and Adventure Center will be on your left.
