Six Wineries…One Big Adventure All six of Bedford’s wineries, located from the Blue Ridge Mountains to Smith Mountain Lake, are part of the Bedford Wine Trail. They include the Peaks of Otter Winery, Leo Grande Vineyard & Winery, Hickory Hill Vineyards & Winery, Ramulose Ridge Vineyards, Seven Doors Winery, and White Rock Vineyard, Winery & Brew Haus. The Bedford Wine Trail is a great Virginia weekend getaway, while also offering something fun and unique for locals to experience. Some of the wineries offer additional opportunities such as orchard tours (including pick-your-own fruit in season), farm animals, picnic areas, and additional products for tasting and purchase such as apple butter, jams, and more made with fruits grown at the orchard. Visitors are encouraged to pick up a Wine Trail Passport at the Bedford Area Welcome Center and get a stamp at each winery they visit. Once the card is full, it can be redeemed for a souvenir wine glass. As visitors make their way along the Trail, they will catch a glimpse of the other treasures in Bedford including beautiful vistas, country stores, attractions, restaurants, and more!
