Vinton Fourth of July Celebration, 6 p.m.-10 p.m., Vinton War Memorial grounds: Entertainment by Cimmaron, featuring Jimmie Wilson’s Tribute to Willie Nelson, children’s activities, patriotic program by Thrasher United Methodist Choir, festival foods on-site. Fireworks start at 9:30 p.m. Bring your own seating.
