The Blue Ridge Potters Guild 17th Annual Show will be largest all-pottery show in Virginia featuring functional and decorative works created by over 70 area potters. The Show and Sale celebrates the beauty, art and function of pottery. This event is free and is open to the public at Patrick Henry High School and begins with a sale and reception on Friday evening with the opportunity for customer to enjoy refreshments and shop the huge selection of unique and spectacular pottery. Sale and demonstrations continue Saturday and Sunday. Demonstrations feature various pottery techniques including hand-thrown, hand-built and sculpted clay art. Watch how potters take a piece of clay and create an artistic form. A special gallery exhibit will show works interpreting the theme of "Coming Home". Cash, checks and credit cards accepted.
