Winds of the Blue Ridge is a premier wind ensemble in Roanoke, Virginia, dedicated to bringing high-quality symphonic band music to the Southwest Virginia community. Comprised of talented musicians from Roanoke, Salem, Blacksburg, and nearby areas, this ensemble offers free concerts throughout the year, providing an enriching cultural experience for both locals and tourists.
With a mission to create a platform for skilled musicians to perform together, Winds of the Blue Ridge presents a variety of performances that celebrate live music. These include notable events such as "July 4th Celebration" at Rivers Edge Sports Complex and "Friday Night Winds!" at Roanoke City Market Square.
