The “O” honors the history of Gish’s Mill, using wood from the mill that powered the town for many years. The “V” celebrates Vinton’s thriving food scene, known for its American and Ethnic cuisine in family-friendly settings. The “E” symbolizes the town’s four surrounding waterways—Tinker Creek, Glade Creek, Wolf Creek, and the Roanoke River—all contributing to the natural charm of the area.
