Vera Dickerson is a Virginia artist and teacher who has always loved picture-making. As a child, she painted beside her mother, also an artist, and decided at an early age that art is life. She is Director of The Studio School in Roanoke, Va., and an award winning painter whose work has brought signature membership in American and National Watercolor Societies. Ms Dickerson is included in Who’s Who in American Art ( since 1987), Who’s Who in The South and Southwest and Who’s Who in American Women. She is a mult-year participant in Open Studios - Botetourt. She and her husband Bob live in rural Botetourt Co. Virginia.
