U.S. Route 460 is the primary road for traveling from east-to-west in the southern part of Virginia and it connects the Roanoke Valley to Lynchburg and Blacksburg.It is paired with U.S. 221 between Bedford and Roanoke and with U.S. 11 between Salem and Christiansburg. You can take U.S. 460 west and travel through Blacksburg toward the George Washington & Jefferson National Forest and the outdoor adventures that await you. This trip is roughly 45 minutes from Roanoke.
