U.S. Route 11 - Salem to Christiansburg

U.S. Route 11 is a historic road in Virginia's Blue Ridge that runs parallel to Interstate 81. U.S. Route 11 is a popular road for many motorcycle enthusiasts and it's a great way to see some of the communities in the region while traveling. Traveling west, U.S. Route 11 makes it way through the City of Salem and toward Virginia Tech and Christiansburg. This drive offers great views of the Blue Ridge Mountains while passing through some gorgeous farm country. The distance between Roanoke and Christiansburg is approximately 32 miles on Route 11.
