The Studio School has brought quality art education to the Roanoke Valley since 1990.Adult classes continue to maintain a high quality of education, and the beginning student finds as much support and encouragement as does the professional artist attending for a "recharge" of inspiration or a new challenge. Group trips are organized to travel to painting locations, galleries and museums in Roanoke and other cities. The schedule now Includes a busy Children's Program held after school and on Saturday.The Studio School was located for many years above Mish-Mish, an art supply store on Campbell Avenue near the Historic Farmers' Market in Roanoke, Virginia.In 2001 the Studio School moved to a spacious suite of two classrooms on the first floor of Roanoke's Jefferson Center. In June, 2010, and then to 505a South Jefferson Street in December, 2006.We moved to our present location at 1104B Brandon Ave. Roanoke, VA 24015 in June 2010.
