The Roanoke County Public Library is pleased to offer the Roanoke Valley community a number of meeting options at its new South County headquarters library at 6303 Merriman Road. The Commons, the Library's 9,000-square-foot annex, has two general meeting rooms and an auditorium designed to meet a variety of needs. The meeting rooms can be configured in a number of ways and can be combined to serve a larger audience (more than 150 seated). The 200-seat Auditorium has fixed and moveable seats.
Directions
- Directions: From US 220/I-581, take the Electric Road/VA-419 Exit toward Salem. Continue just over one mile on Electric Road and then turn left on Chaparral Drive. Go 1.75 miles on Chaparral (past Cave Spring High School) and then turn left on Merriman Road. Continue nearly 3/4 mile on Merriman Road into the roundabout and the library will be on the right.

- DescriptionIf you're looking to host a lecture for more than 300, South County has The Commons to meet your needs. The Commons area is flanked by two 80-seat meeting rooms and a 200-seat auditorium. The meeting rooms can be made into one single room with an audiovisual feed between the auditorium and the meeting rooms is necessary.
