Roanoke’s Highland Park is officially home to one of the region’s most challenging disc golf courses. Players will get a workout while traveling over the hill-filled terrain the course is set on, while aiming their discs between trees which provide obstacles on many of the holes. The 9-hole course offers 3180 feet of play, with the longest hole measuring 633ft. The total par is 30. The course is equipped with concrete tee pads and a permanent practice basket.

  • Directions: Directions to Parks and Recreation Office: From I-81, take Exit 143 to I-581 South toward Roanoke. Take I-581 South for approximately 5.5 miles and take Exit 5 to Williamson Road toward Downtown Roanoke. Take Williamson Road for approximately 1/4 mile and then turn right on Church Avenue. Continue approximately 1/2 mile on Church Avenue and the City of Roanoke building will be on the right.
