Roanoke County Public Library is headquartered at South County Library, 6303 Merriman Road in Roanoke. South County was opened in 2012 and has a number of meeting spaces available to the public, from an 18-seat conference room to a 200-seat auditorium. Two branch libraries, Hollins on Peters Creek Road in Roanoke and Vinton on Washington Avenue in Vinton, have rental spaces available as well. Construction of the Glenvar Branch Library will be completed in spring 2013, adding to the already robust meeting space inventory within the Roanoke County Public Library.
