As its' name implies, this complex of facilities is bordered by the Roanoke River and sits at the foot of scenic Mill Mountain. River's Edge has facilities for youth and adult sports, including one baseball and two softball fields, five soccer fields, and six tennis courts. The complex is also located near Downtown Roanoke and the Roanoke River Greenway.

- Directions: I-81 to Exit 143 (I-581/Route 220 South) to Wonju Street Exit. Turn left at first light onto Franklin Road. Rivers Edge is located on the right - across from the Ramada Inn.
