The Patterson Creek Trail System is off Route 606 approximately 10 miles northwest of Fincastle. It’s located in the George Washington & Jefferson National Forest and the Roanoke IMBA group is working hard to maintain and continue to develop an extensive Price – Patterson Mountain Trail System in this area. There are currently over 9 miles of great single track with plans for the system to eventually include over 20 miles for mountain biking. This is a challenging trail system with demanding climbs, but the remoteness of the area offers opportunities for stunning views from the ridgetops and exciting downhill runs. The Price Mountain Trail is the longest trail in the area at 6.6 miles and can be turned into a loop ride via the Kelly Trail (1.3 miles) and Route 612 – a gravel road. Parking is accessible off Route 606 and at the corner of Hebron Road & Route 606.
