In the Montvale Park, you can enjoy 6.5 miles of entirely wooded single-track trails in this rustic area of Bedford County. Experience stream crossings on foot bridges or ford them on your own. Wildlife in this area include deer, turkey, squirrels and the occasional coyote. This trail system is ideal for mountain biking, trail running and hiking.

From Lynchburg: Take 460W to Montvale, pass elementary school on left, turn left directly across from the “Roadside Market” onto Quarterwood Rd. Go approximately 1.5 miles and the entrance is on your left.
From Roanoke: Take 460E to Montvale, you will pass Buchanan’s Auto Auction on your Right and then you will take your next Right onto Quarterwood Rd. Go approximately 1.5 miles and the entrance is on your left.
