Mark Young, Fine Artist

Mark Young is a contemporary realist whose oil paintings have won awards in juried shows and art-publication competitions. He has exhibited in several one-person shows and numerous group shows. Many private collectors and corporations have purchased his paintings and several galleries have or currently do represent his work. Mark is confident in painting portraits, seascapes, landscapes, figures, still lifes, interiors and architecture scenes. The atmospheres of his works are full of light, air and space, reflecting his insight into light, shadow and the handling of color. Mark offers commissioned paintings and welcomes inquiries about specially created portraits of people, animals, buildings or landscape scenes. Mark lives and paints in the Blue Ridge Mountains north of Roanoke, Virginia.
