Lynn Cothern has a B.A. in fine arts with an emphasis in painting and drawing. She works in oil—both plein air and in the studio—but also enjoys water media, especially watercolor and gouache.
Lynn is a member of the American Impressionist Society. She has studied art and bookbinding at the Corcoran School of Art, Pyramid Atlantic, Penland, Paper and Book Intensive, and the Art League School in Alexandria, Virginia. She lives in Roanoke, Virginia, with her son and standard poodle.
