Born in Kentucky and raised in Wyoming, Linda has lived in several states throughout Central and Eastern America. She currently resides in Salem, Virginia. After retiring she began painting and has studied with several top artists in the Dallas and Roanoke areas. She has won several top honors in juried art shows in Texas, Oklahoma, and Virginia. Linda is a member of The Oil Painters of America, The League of Roanoke Artist and Bald Knob Artist. Her work can currently be viewed at Second Helpings Gallery in Roanoke."The life of an artist is a never ending process of learning and discovery. I am inspired by the effect that light has on color and the way color changes in shadow. Nature is a wonderful teacher."
