Layman Family Farms is located in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains, surrounded by rolling hills of both forests and cultivated lands. The 87 acre farm in Blue Ridge, Virginia, is owned and operated by Eric and Sharon Layman and their family. Each year, new attraction are added to the farm so visitors experience something different. The farm offers a 9 acre corn maze, 15 acre courtyard, 5 acres parking, pumpkin patch, giant jumping pillow, hay ride, cow train, corn cannon, pumpkin blaster, farm animals, and children play area with a corn crib box, rubber duck races, horse swings, giant tube slide and tires, bird house village, BeeLine zip. This agri-tourism site presents many opportunities to learn from hands on experiences about agriculture, helping bridge the gap between city and country life. Our hours of operation in September, 2017 are Saturdays from 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM for the Farm & Corn Maze and Sundays from 11:00 AM - 6:00 PM for the Farm & Corn Maze; Admission is $10 in September.
In October we will be open on Saturdays from 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM; Sundays 11:00 AM - 6:00 PM where admission is $12 a person; Wednesdays 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM, and Fridays 3:00 PM - 7:00 PM where admission is $10.
