In the Happy Belly Deli, located in the back of Roanoke Natural Foods Co-op, you’ll find made-from-scratch foods, breads, and confections prepared daily using the best natural and organic ingredients available, at the lowest possible prices. Healthy, delicious food is our passion, and we promise that the ingredients our staff uses include: Certified organic fair trade, shade grown coffee, natural grains, beans, nuts, seeds, and flours. We also carry: Certified organic and locally grown produce, hormone-free milkantibiotic-free meats, fresh, local eggs from free-range chickens, dolphin-safe tuna, and reverse osmosis filtered water. Order at the counter from our extensive menu, which offers sandwiches, salads, and side dishes, and enjoy your meal in the Deli seating areas in the front and back of the store. Both areas have free wireless Internet access. The Happy Belly Deli also creates daily specials, homemade desserts, and fresh-baked loaves of bread. Our fresh juice bar is the only one in town that juices fresh organic vegetables and wheatgrass and blends frozen organic fruits into smoothies. Directions
- Directions: From I-81, take Exit 143 to I-581 towards Roanoke. Go approximately 5 miles on I-581 and take Exit 5 onto Williamson Road. Take Williamson Road for approximately 1/4 mile and then turn right on Campbell Avenue. Continue on Campbell Avenue for approximately 1.5 miles and turn left onto 13th Street. 13th Street will become Memorial Avenue and you will cross over Memorial Bridge as you enter into the Grandin Village community. After approximately 1 mile on 13th/Memorial Ave, turn left on Grandin Road into the heart of Grandin Village and the restaurant will be on the right - it is located inside the Roanoke Natural Foods Co-Op.
