Franklin County offers over 700 acres of public parks for citizens to explore. The County also manages over twelve miles of mountain bike/hiking trails. The Parks and Recreation Department is proud to offer free youth programs annually including coach tours, festivals, sporting events, nature hikes, astronomy programs, and arts and crafts classes. In addition, youth athletic programming includes baseball, instructional softball, sandlot football, cheerleading, basketball and soccer. Picnic shelters, platforms, banquet facilities, and our newly remodeled amphitheater are available for you to enjoy.
