Charter Hall is downtown Roanoke’s premier event space. Located on the third floor of the City Market Building the space offers history, flexibility, and state of the art technology. The space can accommodate up to 460 people for meetings and 240 for formal dining.

While you’re planning your dream wedding, reception, or both you won’t want to miss the chance to see Charter Hall. With the help of our in-house wedding coordinator you’ll find that we can accommodate your every desire right in the heart of beautiful Downtown Roanoke.

Also available in the City Market Building is our second floor Mezzanines. This casual open-air portion of the second floor is available for cocktail hours, showers or smaller events.

  • Directions: From I-81, take Exit 143 to I-581 South toward Roanoke. Take I-581 South for approximately 5.5 miles and take Exit 5 to Williamson Road toward Downtown Roanoke. Take Williamson Road for approximately 1/4 mile and then turn right on Campbell Avenue. Go 1/4 mile - the City Market Building is on the right.
