Salem Memorial Ballpark is a minor league baseball park located in Salem, Virginia, and is part of the James E. Taliferro Sports and Entertainment Complex along with the Salem Civic Center and Salem Football Stadium, approximately 1 mile southeast of downtown Salem. Opened on August 7, 1995, it is home to the Single-A Advanced Salem Red Sox of the Carolina League and can seat 6,300 people. It was built in 1995 at a cost of $10.1 million to replace Municipal Stadium, it offers an impressive view of the Blue Ridge Mountains.

  • Directions: From 220: Take the Franklin Road exit towards Salem and Tanglewood Mall. Follow 419 past Brambleton Avenue and Apperson Drive (about 8 miles). Take a left at Boulevard (Wilco on the corner). Follow Boulevard 1/4 mile to ballpark on right. Stadium is next to Salem Civic Center & Football Stadium. From I-81: Take Salem exit 141, Route 419 towards Salem. Follow 419 through two traffic lights (passing Lakeside Shopping Plaza on right). Bear to the right on to Texas Street (Alt. 460/11). Follow about 1/4 of a mile to ballpark on the left (next to football stadium and Salem Civic Center).
