Camp Bethel (Fincastle, VA) is open year-round for conferences, retreats, festivals, RV/tent camping, school groups, outdoor education, and other family, church and community events. Our facilities are a mix of modern, rustic-elegant cottages, lodges, meeting rooms and event spaces. We offer 470 acres of land bordering the Jefferson National Forest, with hiking trails that connect with the Appalachian Trail and the Blue Ridge Parkway. We are also just 11 miles from the James River, and are surrounded by paths for gravel biking, single lane mountain biking, and road biking. Camp Bethel is perfect for unique events, with excellent food service provided on request. Our facility is 10 miles North of Roanoke, and is easily accessible by I-81 and Route 11. All facility usage requires an advanced reservation and will be limited from May-August due to Summer Camp.
