The Buchanan Theatre is available to rent for meetings, trainings, and other special events. Auditorium type seating will accommodate up to 200 individuals. The theatre is equipped with Dolby 5.1 Surround Sound, a mixing board to handle up to four microphones and other accessories. A wireless hand-held microphone, a wireless lapel microphone and a plug in microphone are available. The theatre is equipped with an LCD projection system to hook your lap top to for presentations. A cable is available in the sound room as well as the stage area. You may serve refreshments; however, you may not sell refreshments. The regular concession stand can be open upon request; however, all concession sales go to Standing Room Only. If you want to have a private movie viewing, you may be required to pay appropriate licensing fees for the movie to be shown in the venue.
