It then travels along the Roanoke River Greenway towards downtown. Connecting with the greenway at the Walnut Street Bridge & Williamson Road, you’ll ride along the Mill Mountain Greenway into downtown Roanoke. The bulk of the pieces you’ll explore are in the downtown core. From there, the route leads into a portion of the Historic Old Southwest neighborhood, where it will loop back into the mail route at Wasena Park. From start to finish, it’s an 8.5 mile ride. Visit the Art by Bike webpage for step-by-step directions and more information about the ride, including pictures of the art you can expect to see.
