A Few Old Goats Brewing (AFOG), a 2-barrel nano-brewery located on the west end of Downtown Roanoke, VA, has been delighting beer enthusiasts since 2018. Founded by friends Kenny and Joyce, and Curtis and Lisa, who moved from the greater Cleveland area, AFOG was born from their shared passion for beer and brewing. The team, often seen pouring, brewing, and conducting "quality control," brings a hands-on approach to the craft.
AFOG's ever-changing beer lineup, with 12-16 taps featuring both classic styles like Cream Ale, Gose, Red, and IPA, as well as experimental brews, ensures there's always something new to try. Their spacious outdoor area and green space, along with indoor and outdoor games, make it a great spot for relaxation and fun. The brewery is also dog-friendly, welcoming furry friends on a short leash.
With a motto that "Stouts are a year-round beer," AFOG invites visitors to enjoy a unique and friendly atmosphere. Whether you're a local or a visitor, AFOG is a must-visit destination in Roanoke, where you can savor great beer and make new friends.
