Doug and Evie Robison started Wildflour Market and Bakery in 1991 as a family owned and operated establishment. A quarter of a century later, the restaurant continues to win numerous awards for its excellent meals, desserts, and service, including the Roanoke Chamber of Commerce's "Small Business of the Year" award in 2000.   • Directions: From I-81, take Exit 143 to I-581 South. From I-581 South, take Exit 6 for VA-24/Elm Avenue. Turn right on Elm Avenue and continue 1/2 mile. Turn left at light onto Franklin Road and go less than 1/4 mile as you enter the Old Southwest District of Roanoke. Turn right on Albemarle Avenue and then take the first left onto 4th Street. The restaurant will be on the left.
