In 1908, 7 clubs in Roanoke merged to form the Thursday Morning Music Club, The purpose, since its inception, has been to create a broader appreciation of music, develop individual music and dance talent, and to support musical entertainment in the Roanoke Valley. Today, we continue to invite talent recognized nationally and world wide as well as outstanding local artists to perform for us. We also give talented club members many opportunities to perform. The club has its own chorus which is available to sing for community functions; and, promotes young talent through its active Junior Clubs, scholarship programs and awards.
