The Bird Cage is an "accidental boutique" located in the picturesque town of Salem, Virginia.
Gwenda Kellett, owner and operator, had already been successfully established in the Roanoke Valley since 2001 with Plantagenet Rose Interiors and Gift Boutique. Always carrying a small selection of jewelry, purses and scarves, Gwenda slowly began incorporating various items of clothing to the delight of customers. As the demand grew, our “accidental boutique” was born. Located within Plantagenet Rose Interiors and Gift Boutique, 16 S. College Avenue in Salem, The Bird Cage proudly carries brands including but not limited to: Roxanne Kelly Designs, Sucre Soir, Emerson Street, Cut Loose, Synergy Organic, Echo Verde, Alternative Apparel, Groceries, National Picnic, Sheerwater, Latico Leather and Piper Lane.
The Bird Cage is proud to include many brands made in America, as well as organic, socially-responsible collections. These companies allow us to carry a diverse, unique selection for all ages.
