Commissioned by local artist Lisa Floyd, the LOVEwork at Smith Mountain Lake reflects doing the things you love to do on vacation with the people you love most and showcases an abundance of on and off-water outdoor adventures and cultural experiences.
Directions
- Directions: From Roanoke, take US 220 South into Franklin County through Boones Mill. After Boones Mill, turn left at Plateau Plaza (Gas Station/Dairy Queen/Bojangles) onto Wirtz Road/Rt. 697. At the end of Wirtz Road, turn left on Rt. 122 North. The Welcome Center is located 11 miles ahead on the right in Bridgewater Plaza.
