We are thinking of our neighbors in SWVA and are grateful for the first responders and organizations that are providing assistance. Virginia's Blue Ridge region (Cities of Roanoke & Salem and Counties of Botetourt, Franklin, & Roanoke) was fortunate to sustain minimal damage from the storm and our local businesses are open and ready to welcome visitors. The Peaks of Otter Winery & Orchards is a beautiful setting to enjoy a glass of wine and views of the Blue Ridge Mountains. The LOVEworks art features a design made by local artists and staff that represents various elements of the family farm and business.
The property is located at the foot of the Blue Ridge Mountains and iconic Peaks of Otter and you can see the ridgeline on the horizon behind the sign, which is also surrounded by apple and peach orchards.
The sign was built primarily out of repurposed pallets and empty wine bottles, and it includes a 6-foot tall fiberglass apple that was created by Virginia artist Mark Cline, who’s also known for unique pieces like his Foamhenge creation.
