Montvale Park in Bedford County is located just off U.S. 460 and offers over 7 miles of singletrack for mountain biking. The trails are in an entirely wooded area in the southern portion of the park and have many portions that go over streams via foot bridges or can be forded on your bike. The park features an assortment of trails with varying levels of difficulty. Easy Street and Creekside are two of the easier trail segments, while MotoX and Ridgeline are two of the most challenging trails in the park. Parking is available via Quarterwood Road/Route 691 approximately 1.5 miles off U.S. 460. The Easy Street trail is accessible from this entrance to the park and will connect you with many of the other trails.
