Fairy Stone State Park is a 4,741 acre park with a 168-acre lake that adjoins the Philpott Reservoir. The park features over 15 miles of trails, including over 10 in the Little Mountain Trail System that are great for biking and classified in the trail guide as moderately difficult. The Little Mountain Falls Trail is a 3.33-mile loop trail featuring multiple scenic overlooks and a view of a waterfall. The Turkey Ridge Trail is another fun loop ride that can also be combined with the beautiful Lake Shore Trail for a ride that’s approximately 4 miles. For more of a challenge, take on the 2.05-mile Mountain View Trail. As a state park, you can also take advantage of the great opportunities to get on the water at Fairy Stone Lake for boating, swimming and fishing.
