Ballast Point Brewing Company has officially arrived in Virginia’s Blue Ridge with the opening of its new Tasting Room & Kitchen at the Botetourt Center at Greenfield in Daleville. With 128 taps featuring a variety of Ballast Point beers, growler filling station, retail area with unique merchandise & swag, and a restaurant, it’s a one-stop shop for everything Ballast Point Brewing Company. The views from the bar and dining room also feature the stunning beauty of Virginia’s Blue Ridge. The dining areas accommodates approximately 200 people and there is also a banquet room that can accommodate up to 100. Between the bar, modern-decorated dining area, 2nd floor space overlooking Greenfield Lake, and outdoor patio, which includes a fire pit, there isn’t a bad seat in the house! The San Diego based craft brewery opened the Tasting Room & Kitchen as part of its larger overall plan of the the site in Botetourt County being the the company’s East Coast brewing operation. The Tasting Room & Kitchen feature many of Ballast Point’s most popular brews, such as the Grapefruit Sculpin IPA, Manta Ray Double IPA, Longfin Lager, and others. The dining menu combines the West Coast vibe and creativity of the company with the local culture and flavors of the East Coast, offering items like a West Coast Griddle Burger, Street Style Fish Tacos, and Shrimp & Grits.
