Audrey Fish Pfeifer, born in Ohio, now resides in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia. She studied art at Kent State University. Like many artists, she set her art aside to focus on marriage, her job, raising a son and caring for an aging parent. In the last few years, she has stepped back into the world of art with a passion. Having had a small graphic arts business and doing some portrait work and murals, her focus these days has turned to mixed media. Her inspiration? "An open mind will see inspiration everywhere, It is so simple to me. Create what makes your soul soar." In describing herself, she says: "I am a romantic with a little bit of gypsy in me. I believe we have to make our own fate in this world in order to find the peace and happiness we desire."
