The Virginia Adventure Education Conference brings together Virginia's outdoor educators, guides, and collegiate programs. The conference provides a chance for industry leaders to network and discuss industry trends, while also creating opportunity for students from Virginia's College adventure programs to present in a professional setting.
This day-long event is designed to provide an accessible and inexpensive networking and professional development opportunity for students and professionals in the outdoor leadership field. It includes an opening playnote session, a keynote address, four workshop sessions, and an exhilarating closing Outdoor Adventure Games!
The presentations will be themed around risk management, outdoor leadership, personal outdoor experiences, and so much more. We are looking for both students and professionals to present during the conference time we have together, and would love to hear from all backgrounds. Click the link below to submit a presentation proposal if interested! Your proposal will be reviewed by the VAAEC Committee prior to the conference. Students will present for 20 minutes, professionals will present for one hour.
