Two new-to-the-church bands that definitely know how to explore the power of sound are on the way this February. Let's welcome Keith Allen Circus + Solar Circuit to The Sanctuary!
The Keith Allen Circus is exactly what it sounds like. A high flying, death defying, trapeze act of sound led by multi-instrumentalist, vocalist and ringmaster, Keith Allen (The Mantras), with Kevin Purcell (Drums/Keyboards), Jonathon Sale (Bass), and Bradley Turner (Guitar).
The bands original music blends styles of dark rock and jam (Pink Floyd & Widespread Panic), and catchy psychedelic electro-pop (Gorillaz & Tame Impala) with Keith’s own unique compositional and improvisational style, developed from 20 years of writing and performing with The Mantras.
Philadelphia born Jamtronic Trance Fusion quartet, Solar Circuit, a unique live experience with improvisational roots, blending instrumentation, vocals, and electronics. Newest studio album 'Pulling at the Source' showcases the group's solidified sound; a generous mix of complex songwriting, textures, instrumentation, vocals, and improvisation. The record melds deep electronic roots, layered with soaring guitar and synth melodies, to excite the listener and ignite contagious dancing. This quartet's sights are set full speed ahead, with the release of 'Pulling at the Source', the release of all live show soundboards, constant new additions to the catalog, and ever-growing chemistry and expansion.
5 Points Music Foundation is recognized 501c3 whose mission is to pursue the power of sound through live events that support access to music therapy, hearing loss advocacy, and accessibility initiatives. Read our story here.
