Help keep Blue Ridge PBS a part of the community by visiting Santa’s Winter Wonderland — an annual magical drive-thru experience created to bring joy, wonder, and togetherness to families across our community. From the moment you arrive, you’ll be surrounded by twinkling lights, festive music, and whimsical holiday scenes — each one handcrafted with care to capture the spirit of the season.
Children can wave to Santa and Mrs. Claus, spot friendly holiday characters along the way, and watch as cozy storybook cottages transform into dazzling displays of Christmas cheer. Keep an eye out for surprise appearances from beloved PBS KIDS characters, Pip the Pixie from Pip’s Tips, Jingle the North Pole Helper Elf, Elfie, our very own Elf on the Shelf, and even the Roanoke Grinch, who might sneak in a little holiday mischief of his own!
It’s the perfect way to make cherished memories without ever leaving the warmth of your car.
This event is completely free to the public, thanks to the generosity of our community partners and supporters. But we can’t continue creating magical, educational, and family-focused experiences like this without your help. Your donation — no matter the size — directly supports the programming and community events that make Blue Ridge PBS a vital part of our region. So gather your loved ones, pour some hot cocoa, and let the glow of the season guide you through a night of holiday wonder.
