Our Black Box performances are something truly unique! An intimate experience for the community, these shows take place at our studio in the heart of Grandin Village. Each program is a sampling of different genres of dance, and feature the professional company members, apprentices, and trainees of RBT!
Our Black Box shows are a platform for aspiring choreographers to try their hand at setting original pieces on a professional company. It is rare for young dancers to have this kind of opportunity- to learn and be mentored in this aspect of the performing arts, and then get to see their pieces publicly performed!
In addition to the young talent, the Black Boxes also showcase works from the classics, and choreography from our directors and other company members.
You will love the diversity, innovation, and up-close experience that the Black Box delivers. We hope to see you at one soon! Tickets are always very limited, and usually sell out, so don't delay if there is a date you would like to attend!
Black Box Performances for the 2024/25 Season:
