Open Studios – Botetourt, Art in the Country, returns for the annual open studio and workshop tour on Saturday, Oct 19 from 10 AM - 5 PM and Sunday, October 20 from 11 AM - 5 PM. Photography, jewelry, painting, wood carving, print-making, and woodturning will all be featured.
Various studios, workshops and residences around Botetourt County will feature 14 artists in 6 locations. Open Studios-Botetourt art tour will extend from Daleville/Troutville into Fincastle. The stops in between vary from several artists to a single artist. This year four new artists are participating along with the return of many favorite artists. Botetourt artists include Ed Bordett, Vera Dickerson, Dan Jones, Brett LaGue, Cheryl Miller Lackey, Judith F Lochbrunner, Willie Simmons, Jim Stadtlander and Mark Woodie. Guest artists are Karin Carlson (returning) and new artists Marsha Heatwole, Leah Coffman, David Eakin and Purnell Pettyjohn
